Hale 'O Kuawa is a spacious, yet cozy, one bedroom apartment hideaway on the edge of the Kilauea River Valley with a view of the valley. Hale 'O Kuawa has a private entrance and is 650 square feet with a full bath. The lanai, living room and bedroom face the Kilauea River Valley with a beautiful view to the east.
| Kilauea is a small
town with a local population of approximately 2,000 people. In town
there are three restaurants. We have an excellent bakery, and a
small food market with gourmet, organic, and deli food items plus one of the islands
best fine wine selections. There are specialty
gift stores, a convenience store, a gas station, plus some other well kept
secrets.
Ten minutes to the west is Princeville, a resort and residential community with a shopping center, several restaurants, 3 of Hawaii's best golf courses, tennis courts, a health spa and a luxurious hotel. Another 5 minutes brings you to Hanalei, a unique beach town and residential community with a good selection of restaurants and shopping options. Its beauty is unsurpassed with majestic mountains and the white sand beach of Hanalei Bay. Twenty minutes to the south is Kapaa town where you have more restaurants, shopping, movies and points of interest. |

Hale 'O Kuawa (Hawaiian
for Valley Home) is located in Kilauea Town, the northern most point
of the Hawaiian Island chain.
Kilauea Town is a former sugar plantation town, located on the spectacular North Shore of Kauai just minutes away from the famous Hanalei Bay, Na Pali Coast, the Historic Kilauea Lighthouse and some of the best white sand beaches in the world. |
